Longtime Cajun Musician Nolan Dugas Passes at 81

Longtime Cajun musician and songwriter Nolan Dugas passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the Sunrise Chapel at Walters Funeral Home. Father Gary Schexnayder will officiate the ceremony.

Several in the Musical community took to Facebook with tributes on Sunday for the much loved musician. Mr. Nolan was a fan of so many of the younger generation of musicians and was always in the audience for High Performance shows that it has been said in the past that he was the reason for High Performance.
