Players for the New Orleans Saints say NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, lied during his press conference yesterday while addressing the “no call” that took place in the NFC Championship Game.
During the Super Bowl press conference, Goodell said,
“We can understand the frustration of the fans. I talked to Coach Payton, the team, the players. We understand the frustration that they feel right now and we certainly want to address that.”
Roger Goodell made no mention of how the league would address those frustrations, but former Saints player (now play-by-play broadcaster for the New Orleans Saints Radio Network) Zach Strief and current Saints superstar, Mike Thomas, say the commissioner never talked to them. Saints tight end, Benjamin Watson, chimed in.
