In 2020 with the Covid-19 Pandemic, things have changed. When MLB returned to play this past Thursday, the stadiums were empty. The Broadcasters on ESPN weren’t even at the stadium. The game played in front of an empty stadium does take a little time to comprehend. Sunday afternoon, the Astros had a runner on second with no outs in the bottom of the ninth and failed to tie the ballgame.
In several of the big league markets, teams are raising money for their foundations by selling cutouts to their fans. The Houston Astros have also featured fans on zoom cheering on the team. The Astros will be heading out on the road to Los Angeles. One of the cutouts that they will play in front of is country star Brad Paisley and his wife.
