WATCH: Police Officer Saves Puppy Locked in Hot Car

A video posted on Facebook by the Miami Township Police has gone viral showing an officer rescuing a puppy from a hot car.


In the bodycam video, Office Howard can be seen tending to an unresponsive puppy on the floor of a car on an 86 degree day.  The officer eventually busts the window and rescued the puppy, which is now in the custody of animal control.


The Miami Township Police posted the video on Facebook and reminded the public,

“NEVER leave children or animals alone in a hot car. They can’t get out of the car that gets hotter and hotter by the minute.”
