After several days of rain, sunny weather is expected to return to Riverside County later this week, with only a small chance of light showers Monday and possibly Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Dry conditions could arrive as early as Wednesday, with more consistent sunshine likely by Thursday or Friday.
Local Forecast Highlights:

Riverside, Temecula, Hemet: Wet conditions Monday morning and evening, with highs in the low 60s. Isolated showers are expected to diminish later in the morning.

Coachella: Mostly sunny on Monday, with a high near 70°F.

Palm Springs: Slight chance of morning showers before 10 a.m., with highs around 67°F.
The NWS notes a 15%–25% chance of precipitation Tuesday into Wednesday morning, with mostly dry conditions from Wednesday through Thursday.
Looking ahead, warmer temperatures and periods of Santa Ana winds are expected across the Western United States by next Saturday, signaling a shift to milder, drier weather for the region.
