The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a teen accused of robbing a victim of a cell phone while the victim was walking home from school.
Police said the incident occurred on Friday, September 26, 2025, at around 3:50 p.m. in the 1100 block of Inyo Street.
Authorities said the victim was walking home from school when the suspect approached him from behind and forcibly took his cellphone. The suspect then ran eastbound toward the 400 block of Lake Street.
The suspect is described as a male juvenile with a slim build and a tattoo on his right hand depicting a skeletal hand.
The teen was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and gray jeans.
