Polk County deputies are seeking a man accused of stealing from a Poinciana 7-Eleven twice in a single evening.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect first entered the 7-Eleven at 6519 Marigold Avenue on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, around 5:45 p.m., where a clerk saw him conceal multiple items in his pants before leaving.
Following store protocol, the clerk alerted management to call authorities if the suspect returned. Just over two hours later, the man returned around 8:00 p.m. and took additional unpaid items. Investigators are unsure whether he was on foot or using a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a Black male wearing all-black clothing during both incidents. Security footage has been released in hopes that the community can help identify him.
