Dozens Evacuated from Disneyland Monorail After Power Outage

Around 60 passengers were evacuated Thursday after the Disneyland Resort monorail lost power, leaving riders stranded for hours.

The Anaheim Fire Department responded just before 5 p.m., and Sky5 footage showed passengers climbing down ladders from stalled trains near the entrance to Disneyland Park. Some guests reported the monorail lost power around 3:30 p.m.

By 7 p.m., all riders had been safely evacuated. No injuries were reported. Disneyland officials have not yet disclosed the cause of the outage.
