Authorities are investigating after a man was found stabbed to death at a Motel 6 in northwest Bakersfield early Sunday morning, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at the motel on Olive Tree Court around 6:54 a.m. on January 11, 2026. Upon arrival, they found the man with multiple stab wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, no suspect information has been released.
