Los Angeles Police Department investigators are searching for a woman who crashed into a parked food truck, injuring a 50-year-old woman, and then fled the scene on foot.
The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. on Oct. 4, 2025, on Pico Boulevard near Hayworth Avenue, according to an LAPD news release.
Authorities said the suspect was driving a white Nissan Pathfinder westbound when she rear-ended the food truck, sending it, with its occupant inside, into the busy roadway.
Medical personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department took the victim to the hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
The suspect, described as an adult Hispanic female about 5’8” tall and 180 pounds, did not identify herself, check on the victim, or call authorities. She fled on foot instead.
She was last seen wearing a red dress and black sandals. Investigators noted tattoos on her right hand, right side of her back, both shoulders, and behind her left ear.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and prosecution.
