David Harbour has been making waves not only with his roles as Hopper in Stranger Things and Red Guardian in Black Widow but also through his philanthropic efforts.
Recently, Harbour joined BoxLunch, a company known for its partnership with Feeding America, to participate in a Hunger Action Event at the Atlanta Community Food Bank HQ. Alongside BoxLunch employees from Georgia, Alabama, and Florida, Harbour helped pack 5,170 pounds of food enough to provide 4,308 meals to those in need in the Atlanta area.
Harbour spoke about his partnership with BoxLunch, stating, I believe that in the richest country in the world, no one should go hungry.
He appreciated how BoxLunch balances fun and pop culture with a serious commitment to addressing hunger in America.
For every $10 spent in its online or physical stores, BoxLunch donates a meal to someone in need, and it has donated over 215 million meals since its inception in 2015.
BoxLunch continues to raise awareness about its relationship with Feeding America, a bond at the core of the brand’s mission, according to Rick Vargas, BoxLunch’s SVP/GMM.
The company also makes a splash at conventions like D23, where it showcases exclusive merchandise.
At the recent D23 event, BoxLunch featured a black-and-white theme and offered limited-edition apparel from Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars, adding to its pop culture appeal.
With Halloween on the horizon, BoxLunch is gearing up with new apparel, including an Agatha-themed collection.
