Glenn Hebert checks in with the Acadiana Outdoor Report. Each week, Glenn checks with various areas of the state of Louisiana and shares with you the vast reports he gets from across “Sportsman’s Paradise.”
This past weekend Glenn went fishing around Delacroix with his son Scotty. He was able to catch some specs. He also reports that the fish is still biting in Grand Lake around the bergs and Vermillion Bay. Gunner Waldman said specs and redfish just south of Intercoastal City and around the cove, Cocodrie is still providing some good catches.
On the freshwater side Bayou Bijoux around the pylons and I-10, about six to eight feet of water. Up at Toledo Bend, the bass is still biting. Glenn also reminded me that with the fronts coming through a couple of days after a front is the ideal time to hit the water.
This weekend is the last weekend of the first split of duck and goose season. It has been hit or misses. Deer season has been solid, especially up in North Louisiana.
You can hear the full report weekday mornings inside the Boot Scootin Morning inside the Boot Scootin Morning Show brought to you by H&M Marine Highway 90 West in Crowley.
