How ‘Squeeze Benz’ Went from Viral Sensation to Arrested Felon: $38,000 Theft Uncovered

Antonio Ginestri, also known as the social media influencer “Squeeze Benz,” has been a thorn in the side of police across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. For months, Ginestri taunted law enforcement with his reckless driving and frequent evasion tactics.

In May, the NYPD and New Jersey Public Safety Commission identified the 19-year-old as the person behind the Squeeze Benz persona. He has now been arrested again, this time for unrelated crimes involving around $38,000 worth of designer handbags and ATM thefts.

Ginestri gained notoriety for his risky driving stunts, often leading to crashes and further fleeing from police. Following his initial arrest, activity on Squeeze Benz’s social media accounts has significantly decreased.

The recent arrest is linked to incidents that occurred before Ginestri’s antics as Squeeze Benz came to light. According to NJ.com, Ginestri was arrested on May 16, just five days before authorities connected him to Squeeze Benz.

The arrest affidavit indicates that he was involved in stealing $38,950 worth of designer handbags while driving a stolen BMW X7. He is also suspected of participating in robberies on January 25 and 26 and ATM thefts on February 6 and 9. A 16-year-old accomplice was also arrested.

Ginestri now faces serious charges, including employing a juvenile in a crime, theft by unlawful taking, and conspiracy. His bail has been revoked, and no new court date has been set. If Ginestri is indeed Squeeze Benz, it’s unlikely he’ll be posting any more videos in the near future.
