Zelig Williams, a talented Broadway dancer known for his roles in Hamilton and MJ: The Musical, is currently missing after last being seen in Columbia, South Carolina, on October 3. His family reported him missing the following day when they were unable to reach him.
Williams had recently returned to South Carolina to conduct an audition workshop at Palmetto Performing Arts, which took place from September 27-28. Just days before his disappearance, a friend in New York City received an SOS alert from Williams’ phone, suggesting he may have been involved in a car crash.
Authorities later discovered Williams’ vehicle in a parking lot at Congaree National Park, but there have been no signs of the 28-year-old dancer.
His mother, Kathy Williams, has made a heartfelt plea for his return, saying, “Come home, Zelig. I love you. I want you home with me.
The Broadway community has rallied to raise awareness about his disappearance, with the Black and Missing Foundation sharing his information.
Notably, actor Hugh Jackman also joined the effort, urging anyone with information to contact local authorities.
The search for Zelig Williams continues, and his loved ones and supporters remain hopeful for his safe return.
