For me, French Toast is the ultimate breakfast. I love big, fluffy slices of bread soaked in eggs and milk, then cooked up and topped with butter and syrup. If I’m feeling adventurous, I might even add some extra crunchy peanut butter!
While you won’t find that combo everywhere, Morsel in Seattle is a place you should visit. They’re famous for their biscuits and coffee, so much so that they made it onto MSN.com’s list of the best “hole-in-the-wall” breakfast spots in every state.
Morsel has earned this recognition by focusing on perfecting biscuits. That’s not an easy task, especially when your business is all about biscuits.
I’ve had some great biscuits myself. My wife rolls her eyes when I talk about how good Carl’s Jr. biscuits are, but we both agree that Mel’s Diner in Yakima, Washington, serves up an amazing biscuits and gravy meal. Papa Baird’s in Terrace Heights also near Yakima has hearty servings too. And let’s not forget Shari’s, though many of their locations have closed in Central Washington.
If you’re into biscuits, whether as a topping or in a sandwich, Morsel should definitely be on your list when you’re in the Seattle area. They’re located at 5000 University Way NE, Suite D, in Seattle.
At Morsel, you can enjoy classic biscuit flavors like raspberry jam or chocolate hazelnut butter. Or try something more unique, like herbed goat cheese or bacon jam. This place truly lives up to its tagline, Made by people who care.
