Vermont Senate Race: Sanders Endorses Harris, Faces Criticism from Malloy

Senator Bernie Sanders is running for a fourth six-year term in the U.S. Senate, emphasizing the critical challenges facing the nation, including threats to democracy, income inequality, climate change, and women’s rights.

He faces Republican Gerald Malloy, a U.S. Army veteran, along with several independent and minor party candidates.

Malloy argues that Sanders should retire after 34 years in Congress and claims he can deliver better results for Vermont.

Sanders, who has a long history of advocating for progressive issues, is a prominent critic of former President Trump and has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris following Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race.
