Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz is set to make several campaign stops in central Pennsylvania alongside Senator John Fetterman this week, as announced on Tuesday night.
Minnesota’s governor will kick off his bus tour in Dauphin County on Wednesday, Oct. 2, with stops planned in York and Reading. These appearances follow the vice presidential debate held in New York on Tuesday evening.
According to a press release, Walz will arrive at Harrisburg International Airport at 2 p.m. on Wednesday to meet with supporters and local leaders before beginning the tour. The first stop will be in York at 3 p.m., where Walz will speak at a Kamala Harris rally with Senator Fetterman. At 4:30 p.m., Walz will attend another event in York County, though details on the location were not provided.
The tour will conclude in Reading at 6 p.m., where Walz is scheduled to meet with local Latino leaders.
This marks Walz’s second campaign trip to central Pennsylvania and his fifth visit to the state since joining Kamala Harris’s ticket. The Harris-Walz campaign currently operates 50 coordinated field offices with over 400 staff members throughout Pennsylvania, according to the release.
