Two boaters narrowly escaped with their lives off New Hampshire after a whale breached and collided with their boat, causing it to capsize. The dramatic incident, which was captured on video, happened near Odiorne Point State Park in Rye, New Hampshire, as reported by the Coast Guard.
The 23-foot vessel was struck by the giant whale as it leaped out of the water, sending the boaters into the Atlantic Ocean. Thankfully, nearby individuals quickly came to their aid and rescued them. Colin Yager, who recorded the video, and his brother were among the first responders who helped the boaters.
No injuries were reported from the Coast Guard, and they confirmed that the whale appeared to be unharmed. The boat was later salvaged.
