Brian Schimming, the chairman of the Wisconsin GOP, responded sharply to Bernie Sanders’ visit to Superior, Wisconsin, calling it an attempt to distract voters from Kamala Harris’s out-of-touch policies.
In his statement, Schimming criticized the Harris campaign for relying on radical figures like Sanders, suggesting that their platform of higher taxes, increased government control, and divisive foreign policy stances will only further hurt Wisconsin families.
Instead of focusing on real solutions for Wisconsinites, the Harris campaign is trotting out extreme politicians like Bernie Sanders who have consistently pushed an agenda that would be disastrous for our economy and national security, Schimming said.
Wisconsin voters deserve better than failed socialist policies that will raise taxes and weaken our standing in the world.”
Schimming also pointed to the state’s recent economic growth under Republican leadership and argued that Wisconsin is better off under policies that focus on reducing taxes, protecting jobs, and supporting law enforcement.
He called on voters to back Donald Trump, emphasizing that Trump’s policies, particularly his tax reforms, have brought about a thriving economy and a stronger America.
With both parties doubling down on their efforts in Wisconsin, it’s clear that the state remains one of the most crucial battlegrounds in the upcoming election.
